The Center for Social Innovation (CSI) within GSB educates leaders focused on social and environmental change, equipping students with the skills to tackle pressing global issues through courses and extracurricular activities. Led by Professor Brian S. Lowery, the Leadership for Society Program (L4S) emphasizes cultural intelligence and productive dialogue, aiming to prepare students to become impactful leaders and address society's most challenging problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. 

  • Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.

  • Ability to oversee and direct staff.

  • Ability to develop program partnership.

  • Basic knowledge of managing budgets and developing financial plans.

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule.

  • Ability to travel occasionally.

  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist faculty and senior staff in managing the development, planning, implementation, administration, and evaluation of the Leadership for Society program. 

  • Assist with event planning, organization, logistics, and publicity of L4S programs, courses, and events, including the annual Daring Dialogues conversations series and multi day simulations. 

  • Assist in the administration and delivery of courses. Advise on the development of curriculum. Make recommendations for course improvements.

  • Develop, implement, and assess outreach strategy related to program communications, development, partnerships and fundraising.

  • Produce communications content on the speaker series to be used in external communications on GSB social media pages, YouTube, and paid social media campaigns. 

  • Maintain and update L4S pages on GSB internal and external websites. 

  • Interface with GSB marketing and communications team; identify and manage external vendors for design, production, marketing, and communications support as needed. 

  • Implement online learning platforms and support Zoom sessions, which may include managing polls, breakout rooms, recordings, and attendance tracking.

  • Source, collect and analyze program data, create reports, review and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to improve program activities, policies, and operations, and to achieve the goals of the program.

  • Contribute to new program themes, conversation topics, and speakers.

  • Monitor expenses, budgets, and finances of the program. Make recommendations on funding based on program spend.

  • Represent Leadership for Society to students and to the broader university, external community, and other stakeholders. Engage policy makers, industry leaders, and other experts for conversation series

COmpensation and Benefits

  • The expected annualized pay range for this position at 100% FTE is $111,866 to $146,847 per year. The actual pay will be pro-rated based on the 50% FTE position.
