Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center: Learning & Evalution Associate

The Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center is seeking a Learning & Evaluation Associate to support the Director of Operations in maintaining a strong practice of data-driven continuous quality improvement. This will help link service models and outcomes to the agency's strategic goals. In collaboration with the Director of Operations and the Director of Programs, this role will utilize data to implement and refine the organization’s newly established Theory of Change. The Learning & Evaluation Associate will report directly to the Director of Operations.

Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center (PCRC) was established in 1986 by a small group of concerned residents who wanted to help their neighbors resolve disputes. Since then, PCRC has grown to serve thousands of residents across the county each year, and has earned the reputation of being a highly knowledgeable and effective organization – buoyed by its unique ability to encourage the collective strengths of individuals, families and organizations to help improve communication, community engagement and conflict resolution throughout San Mateo County.

Qualifications

  • The Learning & Evaluation Associate must be a self-directed active problem solver who can identify effective strategies to expand upon while also being able to recognize areas of strategic vulnerability.

    Preferred Characteristics of Strong Candidates 

    • Experience working with data management, analysis, and interpretation

    • Ability to think out of the box and come up with original ways of showing impact

Responsibilities

  • Oversee training, maintenance, and continued build-out of the agency’s database and other data-tracking systems

  • Streamline database look and processes 

  • Develop strategic and operational metrics to support client outcome and agency impact measurement 

  • Create and maintain custom reports and programmatic dashboard reports for both internal and external dissemination 

  • In concert with DOO and the DOP, build expectations and accountability plan for staff database use 

  • Support implementation of organization-wide quality improvement procedures, including the agency’s Theory of Change workplan 

  • Provide ongoing support to staff 

  • Train and onboard new staff in the database  

  • Collaborate with Leadership and Tactical Team on interpreting data for agency reporting (i.e., Annual Report, Fundraising, Impact Report, Donor and Partner maintenance, etc.)

  • Develop and execute focus group in all entry points

  • Work with survey and data integration and optimization

COmpensation and Benefits

  • PCRC is prepared to offer $30-$35 per hour based on experience and skill. 

  • PCRC has a generous time off policy, which includes 13 paid holidays, four floating holidays, five vacation days, and up to 14 paid sick days.
