SV2 is currently looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Manager who is passionate about nonprofit management. This individual will work closely with our team to ensure the success of our mission by executing outstanding operations. The role provides a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic group of local givers and social ventures in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating & Portfolio Officer, the Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing foundational business operations, including finance, HR, information technology, communications, Board and program support, and office management.

Qualifications
Passion for social change and commitment to equity
3+ years’ experience in operations or equivalent experience managing components of this
position’s responsibilities, such as finance, HR, or other organizational processes
Excellent project management skills and ability to carry out multiple projects concurrently
Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and work well in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, fluid work environment
Outstanding attention to detail and service orientation
Entrepreneurial team player with a can-do approach to solving problems
Proficiency in Google Suite and the ability to quickly learn new systems\
Experience with Salesforce, Wordpress, and/or Active Campaign is desirable
Graphic design experience is desirable
Responsibilities
Finance & Human Resources
Interface with outsourced firm to coordinate regular financial data transfer and preparation of monthly financial statements
Support annual budget process, including regular revenue and expense projections
Work with tax preparation firm to manage the annual audit and annual Form 990 tax return
Serve as financial point of contact for all vendors; code and process all invoices
Process all staff reimbursements and corporate credit card reconciliation
Interface with outsourced firm to manage employee payroll, health insurance, retirement savings accounts, and Paid Time Off
Oversee staff onboarding and offboarding for benefits, organizational systems, and IT equipment
Information Technology
Oversee IT and other equipment acquisition, maintenance, and service contracts
Oversee maintenance of all communication platforms / applications (website, Salesforce, Zoom, Google Suite, etc.)
Maintain organizational file systems (digital and physical)
Ensure proper IT infrastructure to support staff both onsite and remotely
Interface with outsourced firm to identify and mitigate security risks
Communications
Project management of twice-monthly eNews, including coordination of content creation, graphic design and layout, and use of Active Campaign platform for distribution
Project management of annual Impact Report
Manage other communications, including weekly Meditation Mondays communications and social media posts
Manage Salesforce data input; create dashboards and other reports that support program and operations
Board & Program Support
Prepare quarterly Board packets, slide presentations, and financial reports
Create annual Board data report with analysis of financial and program data
Schedule Board and Committee meetings
Provide logistical support for Board meetings
Take and file Board and Committee meeting minutes
Manage programming event logistics, including Eventbrite and website postings, catering, nametags, handouts, room setup, and A/V support
Manage registrations for annual U.S. South learning trip and logistics for annual week-long California learning trip
Office Management
Process incoming and outgoing mail, including donor checks
Serve as contact liaison for all vendors, service providers, and landlord
Provide administrative support for organizational calendar, email, and Zoom accounts
Maintain and order office and kitchen supplies
Compensation and Benefits
The annual starting salary for the Operations Manager is $84,000 to $88,000, commensurate with experience. This full-time position meets the exemption requirements as defined by state and federal law. Hours are generally regular business hours, with occasional evening commitments. SV2’s benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403b retirement plan with employer match, funds for professional development, 13 paid holidays, and five weeks of paid time off per year.
