JobTrain is seeking a Site Director/Site Supervisor for their Child Development Center. This leadership position involves overseeing all aspects of the center and requires expertise in managing staff, facilities, and interacting with parents and children. The ideal candidate will be an experienced people manager, skilled in program development and compliance, and capable of building and supporting the center's staff and enrollment.

Qualifications
Demonstrated significant knowledge of childcare programs and licensing requirements as would be obtained through the attainment of a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development or a related field.
Must possess current Child Development Site Supervisor permit.
Five or more years of supervisory and program development experience, two of which should include staff supervisory and program development experience, is preferred.
Current CPR / First Aid certificate
Current Childcare Mandated Reporter certificate (conducted every 2 years)
Proof of COVID and MMR vaccination required (subject to applicable law)
Proof of negative TB test within the past 12 months
Proof of Food Safety Training Certificate
Must obtain annual flu vaccine or provide a signed declination form.
Must complete a pre-employment physical.
Must complete and pass a fingerprint background clearance check.
responsibilities and tasks
Ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing and necessary documentation
Research, analyze and propose program strategies that meet JobTrain and center objectives.
Function as a thought leader in topics, developments and trends in Early Childhood Education
Design new and revised approaches to program to assure equity, legal compliance and competitiveness.
Provide guidance and develop staff in the use of age-appropriate program trends and tools.
Ability to work pro-actively with JobTrain Administration demonstrating strong teamwork ability.
Ability to lead diverse and equitable teams
Ability to develop and manage budgets
Support staff onboarding and ongoing staff development.
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and represent JobTrain in a positive manner at all times.
salary and benefits
JobTrain offers a competitive salary and benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision, acupuncture and chiropractic, paid time off, retirement program employer match, long-term disability and life insurance. The targeted pay range for this salaried exempt position is $67,000 min - $85,000 max
