The Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities is seeking a Program Manager. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for delivering programs in alignment with grant requirements as well as the organization's goals and objectives. This role involves ensuring accountability and reporting for programs according to all relevant funding, legal, and ethical standards. Additionally, the Program Manager will provide training and professional development opportunities for staff.

The Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities (CID) is a non-profit disability justice organization that provides support services for people with disabilities in San Mateo County, California. CID has an annual operating budget of approximately $2.2 million and a staff of 18 employees.
Qualifications
Lived experience as a person with a disability.
BA or equivalent experience in service provision and at least 4 years’ experience in staff supervision.
Demonstrate knowledge of independent living philosophy, disability justice, ILC core services, significant issues affecting persons with disabilities, and social service programs in San Mateo County.
Knowledge and understanding of the history, implementation, and purpose of ILC’s, their core services, and the relationship between all 28 centers in California.
Skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs and the ability to understand organizational software program management.
Knowledge of ILC specific database program management (i.e. CILSuite)
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people including (but not limited to) funders, consumers, media, social service agencies, and government entities.
Excellent public speaking skills and experience in presenting clear and organized information to high level governmental and/or organizational leadership.
At least 5 years’ experience (including supervisory experience) in a social services or advocacy setting, preferably working with persons with disabilities.
Bilingual-bicultural strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Development and implementation of program policies, goals, procedures, evaluation tools, programmatic data collection and reports.
Development and implementation of strategic plan in conjunction with the Executive Director.
Development of new programs and modification of existing ones in alignment with our grants and our strategic plan.
Grant writing, submission, and management of grants in collaboration with Executive Director and Finance Manager.
Grant reporting to public and private funders in collaboration with Executive Director.
Responsible for accuracy of all consumer service records. Perform audit of all database CSRs and a sample of paper CSRs quarterly.
Meets with Board and funders to provide program updates.
Under the guidance of the Executive Director supervision and evaluation of program services staff.
Maintains accuracy of Program Operations Manual.
Development and implementation of training curriculum and related materials for staff, consumers, and other agencies as needed.
Development of informational materials.
Administrative support to Executive Director; participates in financial management, grant allocations, etc.
Other duties as assigned.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
