It was an amazing evening where dynamic connections were made. More than 150 job opportunities were featured at the event. More than 20 great nonprofits joined us to meet and greet local job seekers and volunteers. Nearly 100 individuals from across different segments of the community attended our job fair to learn more about local nonprofits that are actively hiring, talk with experienced hiring managers about career development in the nonprofit sector, and receive feedback on their resumes.

Last week, Thrive, in partnership with CEN and SVCN, proudly hosted the 5th annual OnBoard Match event in San Carlos to connect nonprofits with potential board members. It was an amazing evening showcasing incredible people working to make our community a better place.

Last week, on February 26, 2019, Atkinson Foundation, Give Local Silicon Valley, Sand Hill Foundation, Sunlight Giving, and Thrive Alliance brought philanthropy, nonprofit, corporate, and public leaders together for a unique gathering to learn more about needs and challenges of North San Mateo County communities, explore creative solutions, and discuss potential partnerships to strengthen the region.

We will bring legislative aides, public servants, and our local nonprofit leaders together to discuss how to most effectively work together on important issues for the benefit of our community. And of course, there will be plenty of time for networking and holiday cookies, homemade by Thrive's staff and board.
