The fast fashion industry has long been unsustainable, not only environmentally but also in terms of social equity (e.g. unethical labor practices). Join Sustainable San Mateo County for a Happy Hour to discuss the consequences of fast fashion while exploring solutions to make the industry more sustainable, including ways to progress towards a true "circular economy." They will also brainstorm how our actions can help to reduce the pollution and waste generated by the industry and improve workers’ labor conditions.
