Nonprofit Career Summit & Job Fair
Last week, Thrive proudly hosted the second annual Nonprofit Career Summit & Job Fair to match local nonprofits with potential employees and volunteers. It was an amazing evening where dynamic connections were made. Early results show that a couple of job seekers were hired just a few days following the event - we look forward to hearing more stories unfold!
More than 20 great local nonprofits joined us at this year's event to meet and greet local job seekers and volunteers. We were fortunate to have such a diverse group of organizations, including Stanford University, Peninsula Family Service, Caminar, CORA, Housing Leadership Council, StarVista, and Gatepath. More than 130 job opportunities were featured at the event.
Nearly 100 individuals from across different segments of the community attended our Career Summit & Job Fair to learn more about local nonprofits that are actively hiring, meet inspiring nonprofit executives and leaders, and talk with experienced hiring managers about career development in the nonprofit sector. They even got their headshots taken to update their LinkedIn profiles!
