The process of finding and hiring new employees, especially in a virtual setting, often takes a significant investment of time and energy. As many organizations work to rebuild or expand services to meet increased demand, it can be difficult to find the right candidates. This workshop shows participants how to find, hire, and onboard employees with inclusion, diversity, equity, access, and liberation (IDEAL) principles embedded throughout the process. You will learn tips to assess and define your organization’s needs and values before you begin the hiring process, gain insight to develop strong and inclusive job descriptions that will attract the right talent, and examine the interview process and how you can embed case studies to better evaluate candidates.
