San Mateo County Libraries: Mental Health First Aid Training

San Mateo County Libraries is now offering in-person Mental Health First Aid trainings to the public. Participants will learn about the most prevalent mental health and substance use crises experienced in the United States, as well as how to safely identify potential issues and implement an action plan when helping someone who’s experiencing a crisis. The free course will be provided in person at the Millbrae, Belmont, Half Moon Bay, and San Carlos libraries.

Note: Registration is required. Each course is eight hours and will be offered in four-hour sessions over two days.
