You Gotta Nourish to Flourish: Self-Care for Nonprofit Professionals
During challenging times as many non-profits are called upon to step up services, self-care for our staff is more important than ever. In this workshop, participants will learn how the culture and mission-driven commitments of non-profit work can lead to overwork, high stress, and burnout. We’ll explore how we can practice and model self-care to help shift workplace cultures to prioritize caring for self and community. Participants will reflect on five areas of self-care, design a plan for improving their own self-care practices, and take away ideas and activities to share in their organizations. The workshop will be interactive. Participants will engage with other participants, the facilitator, and provided materials.
