Maya Tussing provides investment and risk management services to nonprofits and philanthropic individuals. Prior to Fairlight, Maya was an investment advisor with Alesco Advisors where she co-led the West Coast office. Over the last 20 years, she has held senior risk management roles at firms such as BlackRock, Barclays Global Investors, Visa, and GE Capital. She is a graduate of Pomona College and holds an MBA in international finance from the University of Washington.

Emily London, Senior Manager at Pacific Business Group on Health

Emily London manages patient experience measurement, behavioral health strategy, and new product development at the Pacific Business Group on Health. She has held several previous roles at PBGH, including quality measurement of doctors, developing care coordination programs, and educating clinicians on the latest diabetes care. Prior to joining PBGH in 2012, Emily worked to improve population health within managed care, consulting, and academic organizations. She has worked with OptumHealth, Stanford University, UCSF, and Mercer Health & Benefits. She has an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and an undergraduate degree from Pitzer College, a member of the Claremont Colleges. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP©) and also has certifications in Lean Process Improvement and Change Management.

Jim Hickman, Co-Founder of Hickman Strategies

Jim Hickman has worked for over twenty years in senior level positions in the nonprofit, government and private sector. Jim co- founded Hickman Strategies. Hickman Strategies works with innovators to find new ways to create value and social impact in the delivery of health and human services to diverse populations. Recently, Jim served as the President and CEO of Sutter Health Better Health East Bay (BHEB), a Sutter Health philanthropic foundation. Launched in 2014, BHEB raises funds to improve community health by applying a common sense and data-driven approach to solving healthcare issues for the underserved and those who require complex care in a community setting.

 

Ann Garnier, Lisa Health Founder and CEO

Ann Garnier is a seasoned healthcare leader, helping to create, launch, and scale innovative tech companies and products that have improved patient outcomes and access to care. At Lisa Health, Ann leads the team to enhance the well-being of midlife women. She is passionate about women’s health and advancing research beyond pregnancy and fertility to reduce the serious and costly health risks that women face as they age and help them celebrate the start of something great. Ann graduated from California State University with a BA degree in communications and business administration and completed executive management programs in strategy and organization and marketing management at Stanford University.

Dr. Eleanor Britter, President of the Peninsula Special Interest Lions Club Charities, Inc

Dr. Eleanor Britter is a retired physician of Internal Medicine and Naturopathic Medicine. She has worked around the world in the practice of both Mercy workers and Doctors Without Borders to build clinics and bring medical help to areas where none existed. Today, as President of the Peninsula Special Interest Lions Club Charities, Inc., her mission is to bring free medical services to every person who has a need. Through her work with the Global Initiative for Health and Wellness she has actively continued in these efforts since the Club was founded in 2011.
