The Parent Venture: Youth Mental Health - Building Hope and Resilience in Uncertain Times

Being an adolescent today is different. In addition to the usual developmental challenges, youth are grappling with school success, social media, racial inequity, and real-life events like school shootings, climate change, and natural disasters. In this special presentation, Clinical Health Psychologist David B. Feldman, Ph.D. will discuss coping strategies and healthy habits in support of children and teens. Dr. Feldman is a Professor of Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University, considered one of the nation’s foremost experts on hope. He will be joined by Mark Cloutier, MPP, MPH, Chief Executive Officer at Caminar.

This special presentation is sponsored by Caminar, in partnership with The Parent Venture.

Parents/caregivers, students, educators, mental health professionals, and community members are welcome. Simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be available. Free admission.
