Join the League of Women Voters of North & Central San Mateo and their guest speaker Stephanie Leonard, Communications Project Manager, Next10.org, for an educational and interactive introduction to the California state budget—including how the budget is put together, where California stands this year in light of COVID-19 implications, and what trade-offs must be considered when looking to balance the budget. This program will focus on the California state budget, using the set of interactive tools developed by Next10 to bring about a deeper understanding of the opportunities and constraints facing our policy makers.
