Continuity of Operations Planning in a COVID Environment: San Francisco & San Mateo County Focus
Join the Bay Area Urban Areas Security Initiative for a two-part training webinar.
Objectives:
Participants will engage in a threat assessment to their clients, staff, and agency operations from wildfires, pandemics, and other likely hazards based on their geography.
Participants will learn the key elements of a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
Participants will outline 3 key elements of a COOP, including a disaster mission statement, issues around working remotely, and impacts on clients, staff, and agency systems.
Participants will leave with a timeline and strategy to complete the COOP process, including a list of resources to assist in the process.
SF CARD will provide technical assistance following the webinar to ensure that participants successfully negotiate their timelines.
