Center for Excellence in Nonprofits: Nonprofit Board Essentials

Most nonprofit board members never receive an orientation to their basic roles and responsibilities. As a result, you have amazing volunteers who want to help but don’t know how and staff that doesn’t understand why their board doesn’t do more. Join CEN for an online workshop where you will learn the 10 basic responsibilities of board service and explore ways for nonprofit board members to maximize support of the organization's mission.

This workshop will be broken into two parts:

Part 1: Tuesday, May 19th, 9:00 - 11:00 am

Part 2: Tuesday, May 19th, 12:00 - 2:00 pm
