There is a widely held, mistaken belief in the nonprofit sector that advocacy is prohibited. Join the Center for Excellence in Nonprofits (CEN) for a course designed to answer the question “What is advocacy?” and dispel the myths that surround the ability of nonprofits to advocate as part of the work they do in support of their missions. Attendees will learn advocacy strategies and develop an understanding of the legal constraints that govern the sector.
