Box.org Skills Swap:
Pro Bono Services For Your Nonprofit

Thrive is excited to partner with Box for the second annual Box.org Skills Swap. The goal is to create a space where their employees (Boxers) can offer their skills and expertise to collaborate with you on an important project that will help you better meet your mission and for them to learn more about your work.

We invite you to submit project ideas by Friday, October 4. The Box team will review the submitted projects to ensure they have the right skillsets to support it and, if accepted, invite you to join us for the Box.org Skills Swap on October 16, from 2:00 - 6:00 pm.

Project guidelines:

  • The project should be able to be completed, or significantly elevated, with a 2-3 hours of collaboration with a Boxer. They cannot guarantee that they will be able to support the project in an ongoing capacity; however, you may talk with your volunteer team to see if they are interested in doing so (we saw that happen last year!).

They're excited to add even more skillsets than last year. They will have Boxers that specialize in:

  • IT & Software help

  • HR: recruiting, people operations

  • Operations (excel, analytics, etc)

  • Marketing

  • Customer Success

  • Sales/Business Development

  • Legal

  • Finance

Agenda:

  • 2:00 - 2:15 pm - Check-in

  • 2:15 - 2:30 pm - Welcome

  • 2:30 - 5:30 pm - Project work
It is okay if you cannot make the full time. If you have a project that can be elevated in a couple of hours, please still apply as long as you can come for the beginning portion for context setting!

  • 5:30 - 6:00 pm - Share & Close out

If you have any questions, please reach out to Christina Louie (clouie@box.com).
