Acterra: Public Comment Workshop (Virtual)
Join Acterra for their upcoming Public Comment Workshop. These recurring workshops hosted by Acterra's Student Ambassadors Program (ASAP) are to help students (high school or college) build skills and confidence.
During this workshop, participants will:
Hear from experienced advocates
Get advice on speaking up and making public comments in settings like city council meetings and town halls
Find out about upcoming climate action opportunities in the Bay Area where you can make a difference
The guest for this workshop will be experienced advocate John McKenna of Sierra Club Loma Prieta and 350SV Menlo Park, who will discuss electrification efforts and ordinances around homes and buildings.
