Acterra: Code Red for Humanity - Pathways to Healthy, Electric Cities

Join Acterra and 350 Silicon Valley as they host “Code Red for Humanity: Pathways to Healthy, Electric Cities”. This free online event invites elected officials from across the Bay Area to hear directly from climate solutions experts and local leaders. The event's focus is on innovating pathways to equitably transition our cities to be fully electric as a necessary step to achieve our climate goals and promote better health.

Speakers include Building Decarbonization (BDC) Coalition Executive Director Panama Bartholomy; BlocPower CEO Donnel Baird; Peninsula Clean Energy CEO Jan Pepper; Palo Alto Council Member Pat Burt; Former City of San Mateo Mayor Rick Bonilla, and others. They will share newly available funding, policy and outreach tools for electrifying existing buildings. Elected officials, municipal staff, policy thinkers, and community advocates will gain ideas for viable and equitable next steps in their own cities.
