Youth Community Service: Summer of Service

Join Youth Community Service for their weekly in-person camps, each focused on a service-learning area. Students will be in 3 small cohorts 3-5 grade, 7-8 grade, 9-10 grade. Using the service-learning model of investigation, planning, action, reflection, and demonstration, campers will be part of a fun, creative journey to make a difference in their community with hands-on projects. All campers will receive 20+ community service hours.

Note: YCS is thrilled to have gotten the green light from the Santa Clara County Dept. of Education for in-person camps. Day 1-4 each week campers will be guided through a creative process of service-learning. Day 5 campers prepare their presentations to showcase to parents, nonprofit partners, and the larger community over Zoom.
