The Parent Venture: Understanding Mental Health - When to Worry and How to Help

Mental health disorders are the most common health issues among school-aged children. Caregivers are often the first to notice the signs and symptoms of a mental health disorder in children and adolescents. In this workshop, Dr. Caroline Mendel, Child Mind Institute, will discuss the signs and symptoms of common mental health disorders, including ADHD, depression, and anxiety, along with strategies parents can use to identify children and teens who need support.

This special presentation is sponsored by Sequoia Healthcare District and The Parent Venture.
