Imelda Gonález, Vice President, Human Resources at Silicon Valley Community Foundation
Imelda has been with the Silicon Valley Community Foundation since August of 2019. Prior to that she was the Director of Human Resources at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, and she has over twenty years of experience in human resources and talent development. She has largely worked at educational organizations – higher education, education research, and charter management. Imelda also serves on the Board of Directors for Veggielution. Originally from Soledad, California, in the Salinas Valley, Imelda has now lived in the Bay Area for over 25 years and in San José’s downtown for over 15 years.
