Redwood City Library Foundation: "The Right to Read" Film Screening & Panel Discussion

The Redwood City Library Foundation and the Redwood City Library Board present "The Right to Read" film screening and panel discussion. This film was directed by Jenny Mackenzie and executive-produced by Levar Burton.

The panel will be moderated by Redwood City Library Director Derek Wolfgram, and the panel includes:

• Rafael Avendano, Executive Director, Redwood City Together

• Dr. John Baker, Superintendent, Redwood City School District

• Kathy Endaya, Executive Director, Project READ

• Deb Sica, Intellectual Freedom Committee of American Library Association; Deputy County Librarian, Alameda County Library

Tickets are free with reservation, with a suggested donation to support Redwood City Public Library. The reception will be at 6:00 pm, and the film will begin at 6:30 pm. The panelists’ discussions will take place at 7:40 pm.
