No Small Matter Film Screening & Panel Discussion
Organizer: Menlo Park City School District
No Small Matter is the first feature documentary to explore the most overlooked, underestimated, and powerful force for change in America today: early childhood education.
The film lays out the overwhelming evidence for the importance of the first five years, and reveals how our failure to act on that evidence has resulted in an everyday crisis for American families, and a slow-motion catastrophe for the country.
Join Menlo Park City School District, Community Equity Collaborative, All Five, The Primary School, and Good2Know Network at Hillview Middle School of Menlo Park for the film screening and panel discussion featuring local early learning educators, preschool parents, San Mateo County Office of Education Superintendent Nancy Magee, San Mateo County Supervisor Dave Pine, and City of Menlo Park Government Mayor Cecilia Taylor.
