Kids In and Out of School This Fall: Discuss Pandemic Recovery Plans with SMC Superintendent of Schools Nancy Magee

Thrive Alliance teamed with 4Cs and County Superintendent Nancy Magee for a Community Forum to discuss the Pandemic Recovery Plan for the reopening of schools, the comprehensive framework that put in place to help local districts start classes again in the safest fashion possible, and how this impacts childcare and after school providers. 

After the Superintendent’s presentation, we will heard from out-of-school-time providers, including Evan Jones of the Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club, Karen Haas-Foletta of Footsteps Child Care Inc. and Karen Molinari of Healthy Cities Tutoring, to dive deeper into the implications on operations. This session will be moderated by Rod Hsiao, Trustee of the San Mateo County Board of Education.
