IN A LANDSCAPE: San Geronimo Commons
Join IN A LANDSCAPE for Classical Music in the Wild, an outdoor concert series in which stunning landscapes replace the traditional concert hall. Guests explore the surrounding environment while listening to the music through wireless headphones, creating an immersive experience that fosters a connection with the music, nature, and one another.
This evening, the concert will celebrate Trust for Public Land’s (TPL) work to preserve San Geronimo Commons in San Geronimo, California, an ecological treasure in the heart of West Marin. TPL, a national nonprofit that works to connect everyone to the benefits and joys of the outdoors, helped transform this former golf course into a natural public park for the whole community to enjoy. The 157-acre property is in the San Geronimo Valley and is surrounded by Marin County open space preserves such as Roy’s Redwoods, French Ranch, and large swaths of state and national park lands.
