Commission on the Status of Women & Women in County Government: Women’s Equality Day Virtual Event

The Commission on the Status of Women and Women in County Government are hosting a Women’s Equality Day virtual event on Thursday, August 26, 5:00-6:15pm.

The San Mateo County Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) and Women in County Government (WICG) are collaborating on Women's Equality Day 2021! This virtual event features SMC Poet Laureate Aileen Cassinetto, Supervisor Carole Groom, Presidents of the WICG & CSW and important aspects of the upcoming election by the Voter Education and Outreach Advisory Committee.

The last half of the program will be hosted Networking Break-Out rooms focusing on:
- The Value of Experience & Learning to Adapt
- Career Opportunities and/or Transitions for Women
- Childcare Resources
- Leadership Opportunities for Women
- Collaborating on Projects that impact Women in SMC
